As already reported, we want to give disabled people a chance to live a less arduous life. In this context, special need tricycles are given away to people with a disability. Yesterday, our partner organisation in India told us about another case where the donation of a tricycle could help. We would like to share this with you in order to show you how small donations can make a person’s life much easier.

Dilbagh Rai from the village of Chak Guru, Distr. Nawanshahr, asked for help because he didn’t know what to do. The 49-year-old recently lost his second leg due to a long-standing, poorly treated diabetes. Before that, he was already dependent on a prosthesis. His wife and single father are also bedridden. His only son and brother are unskilled laborers and can hardly make ends meet for the family.

Of course, Mr. Rai received the tricycle immediately. He said it would help him a lot in his daily duties. On the picture you can see him after the handover with his sister Harpreet Kaur.

You can finance such a tricycle with a donation of 90 € !
