Inga Eichler, graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, already organized a jazz benefit concert for Give and Give in London in 2014. Now during a stay in India, she took the opportunity to visit the school in Daryapur, which is supported by Give and Give. She used her musical education to give singing lessons. The focus was on teaching the English language in a playful way. Two local teachers helped out when vocabulary was missing.

After a little warm-up for the vocal chords, the children learned new songs like “Baby Shark” and the kids presented classics from their repertoire, e. g.”Twinkle, twinkle, little star” – always supported by gestures, because this is not only fun, but also encourages the learning process through multi-channel learning. Accompanied by the keyboard that Inga had borrowed for this day, it sounded even better and the children were full of enthusiasm. We look forward to featuring Inga and other dedicated members in their initiatives in the future.
